Reminiscent of the “Scarface” Air Force 1 of 2006, the upcoming “Split” Air Force 1 continues the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the iconic creation of Bruce Kilgore.
As implied by its moniker, the upper of the shoe is split into black and white sides. The white side, composing the shoe’s lateral side, makes use of tumbled leather, while smooth leather is the material of choice for the black portion of the shoe.
The split theme extends onto the outsole, which also half black and half white.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Split” is expected to release soon at nike.com and select Nike Sportswear retailers.
